What's the difference between a learning tower and a regular step stool?
A learning tower has safety rails on all sides, so your child is enclosed and secure at counter height rather than balancing on an open step. Our Fold N' Store learning towers also fold flat for storage, whereas step stools are typically fixed, single-height, and offer no side support which matters most between roughly 10 months and 3 years old, when balance is still developing.
Do I need an adjustable learning tower or is a fixed-height one fine?
It depends on how long you want the tower to last.
